Fun filled weekend

We had PERFECT weather this weekend, so we went downtown to explore one of the Riverfront Parks. Here are some things we did-->
--Walked on the Serpentine Wall looking at the Riverboats (Karsten's favorites. We actually went on a riverboat cruise a few weeks ago at Karsten's suggestion. It was so fun!!)
--Flew a kite
--Waded in the little 9 inch deep pool/fountain we discovered. We didn't bring our swimsuits, so here is Karsten "Steve Erkel" Waisath, trying not to get his shorts wet.
--Played on the playgound (for any locals, they have two GREAT playgrounds at Sawyer Point)
We then had to stop to get a lemonade for Karsten (a current favorite of his) came home to let Morgan take a nap and then went out for a casual dinner. It was a fun family Saturday!

Daily Living

WARNING-Child Nudity

I was going through some recent photos and thought I would share some of things that occur daily around here...

#1) By the end of the day, Morgan is usually naked (or at least pants-less), hair hanging in her face after ripping her barretts out all day, and making a mess. She loves to sit like a "big girl" at the train table (as pictured), but here she is seen secretly dumping all the puzzles pieces on the floor beside her.
#2) Karsten loves to build with tinker toys & blocks. This is his most recent project he built with dad this morning. It's a functioning crane-you can barely see the trash truck he's lifting at the bottom of the photo. Love his engineering interests and abilities, but hate the mess that's left behind after the demolition of his projects!

#3) Morgan loves to eat-if she sees anyone eating or sees evidence of food, you know where to find her. If you leave the door open to the pantry, you are sure to find Morgan doing this.
#4) Not quite sure why, but both the children love to run around with underwear on their head. And Morgan actually has an infatuation with Karsten's underwear. If they are ever found laying around, she is sure to find them, hang them on her arm or hug them and run around the house playing with them. She did this one all by herself. We're so proud of you Morgan, you're growing into such a feminine little girl :)

Morgan Walking--This isn't the video I was planning on uploading, but until I can get the right one to work, here you go familia (yes, I think Karsten is seizing in the background)-->
